"Leah,
You get A+. Everyone raved over the presentation and the taste. They were just lovely--and I only have 5 left... for me. Such a nice variety of cake and frosting, and I do not know how you were able to decorate those mini-tops. You are very clever and talented.

Month of November

Boy have I been busy the past month (and out of town!) Well, the holidays are a time for family- and that is what I have been up to! Today I am going to feature some of my sweet treats that I have been sharing with my family and friends from Halloween, Thanksgiving, a trip home to TX, and more!

Here is a picture of Robbie, 10, one of the kids I babysit for enjoying a pumpkin & cream cheese cupcake on Halloween!
Although you can't see the actual treats-- Let me tell ya they were yummy!!! The first was a mini pumpkin pecan loaf with a brown sugar streussel, and the second- pumpkin sour cream bars with chocolate chips, walnuts & a brown butter icing.

Here is a picture of me with my apple raspberry pie before it went in the oven! It was made with a cinnamon crust & a turbinado sugar glaze!
Here is the pie on Thanksgiving- so crispy, flaky & delicious!!
This is a (poor) shot of the most delicious pumpkin pie I have ever made/eaten!! It was a cream cheese pumpkin filling with an almond spice whipped cream.. MMMMMM!!Here is a picture of my Dad & I during my trip home to TX. It was his birthday-- he is a chocolaholic can you tell???
It was a chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese fudge filling, ganache & semisweet chocolate chunks on the outside!
Unfortunately my trip home was because my beautiful mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in October & was having her surgery. I made her these cream cheese sugar cookies with Royal Icing!!
Watch out for HOLIDAY TREATS soon to come on the blog!!

Perfect Pumpkin Cupcakes

These Pumpkin Cupcakes have soon become one of my personal favorites. They are absolutely delicious and one of the most moist flavors I have created! They are the perfect for fall and of course Halloween celebrations. They have a light and fluffy cream cheese frosting that absolutely melts in your mouth!!

"Hi Leah,

I just wanted to say thank you for making my exquisitely delicious cupcakes for my birthday! It was such a special treat….and by far the best cupcakes I’ve ever had!! The pumpkin flavor was so perfect and so freaking moist and what could be better than cream cheese frosting? More cream cheese frosting.
J Thanks so much for all the effort you put into those, it was GREATLY appreciated.

Your biggest fan,

Alison"
