Ruffles Roses and Pearls Wedding Cake

How gorgeous is this wedding cake?!? Alice designed her cake based off her dress, wanting lots of ruffles and pearls, and the soft pink that she had everywhere at the reception. The bottom two tiers were made to mimic the ruffles of her wedding dress. The next tier was covered in hand rolled and airbrushed pearls, and the top tier was covered in layers and layers of ruffles. All of the roses were hand made and airbrushed. The cake was white velvet, almond, and strawberry with fresh strawberry filling and the reception was at the Ashton Hotel in downtown Fort Worth.

Jenna and Sean's Wedding

Jenna wanted a vintage inspired wedding cake with a special surprise- the inside of the cake was ombre with a graduating aqua color! She chose the white velvet as her flavor (the most popular of our wedding flavors!) Sean's grooms cake was a peanut butter chip with chocolate buttercream filling "Retro Nintendo" player! How fun!

Alma's vintage inspired wedding cake

This is one of my favorite cakes ever! Alma was the sweetest bride ever, who wanted something unique and vintage inspired for her wedding cake! Right up  my alley! The entire cake is our signature "white velvet flavor" The colors were made to match Alma and Jeremys themes and colors. It looked awesome at their venue- the Thistle Hill Mansion in Fort Worth.

Drew and Dave's Vintage Inspired Wedding Cake

Last weekend I had the distinct pleasure of making this beautiful wedding cake for Drew and Dave. Drew and I discussed designs and looked at pictures of cakes she was drawn to, and she decided on this particular cake- which I love! It is a 12" 9" 6" cake- bottom tier Key Lime Blueberry cake with fresh blueberries and buttercream filling, top 2 tiers mocha chip with chocolate buttercream filling. The cake is covered in ivory fondant, and top tier is covered in lots and lots of little fondant flowers. The flowers were all hand made and luster dusted with 4 different shades to go with the vintage feel of the cake! Drew and Dave also requested 8 dozen mini cupcakes- they are coconut with chocolate buttercream and chocolate confetti with chocolate buttercream.

Damask Wedding Cake

Hooray for Wedding Season!!! This modern damask wedding cake was for Amy and Brian's wedding at the FW Community Arts Center. It was a six tiered cake varying in flavors. The top tier for Amy and Brian to save for their 1 year anniversay is an almond cake with buttercream and slivered almond filling. The next little mini cake, and also the bottom tier of the cake, are vanilla bean cake with cream cheese and fresh raspberry filling. The super tall third tier is "Almond Joy" which is a chocolate cake with almond filling, slivered almonds, and buttercream filling. The 4th tier was a pink champagne cake with buttercream and fresh strawberry filling. The cakes are covered in ivory fondant with chocolate damask details, and gumpaste flowers.
