These fun cupcakes were made for Alexa and Jewel's 17th birthday! They were 2 dozen "50/50" white and chocolate with a specific color scheme. I love how they turned out for a winter birthday!

Grey Pink and Purple Baby Shower Cake

It doesn't get much girlier than this!! The request for this cake was over the top girly and ruffly for a baby girl baby shower! It is a 6"8" stacked cake to match the colors of her nursery: gray, light pink, and lavender. So sweet and dainty!

Ladybug Cupcakes

Love these ladybug cupcakes! They were 2 dozen vanilla bean and double chocolate cupcakes with brightly colored buttercream and fondant ladybug and flower toppers!

Funky 40th Birthday Cake

My darn camera wasn't working this weekend, so I had to take pictures with my iphone. This fun cake was based off of Alyssa's "Fairy Cake", but made for Rita's 40th! The cake was an 8" Lemon cake with fresh strawberries and buttercream filling. The bow, "40" and flowers are all made from fondant. I love the colors!

Girly Western Cake

I had so much fun making this western cake for Miss Brooke!! It is a 4" 6" 8" stacked cake with red velvet, cookies and cream, and confetti cake. Her party is going to be at the stockyards and I think it's going to be fab! 

Purple Wedding Cupcakes

These cupcakes were for Kristen's wedding! They were made to match her invite and all the amazing flowers. I wish I had taken a picture of the flowers because they were BEAUTIFUL! The cupcakes were vanilla bean and chocolate. The toppers were monogram "B's", Daisies, and piped buttercream flowers. 

Bugs and Flowers cupcakes

These cute little bug and flower cupcakes are an example of what we do ALOT of here at Leahs Sweet Treats, and I unfortunately don't always take pics of them! These were red velvet and lemon. 

Ruffled Princess Cake

This cake was made for Brooke's 6th Birthday celebration, with a princess theme! The cake was an 8" vanilla bean cake with buttercream filling and frosting and covered in fondant "ruffles" that were then airbrushed to give an ombre affect. The crown and wand were made from gumpaste and then airbrushed gold, hand painted with leopard details. The sweet flowers were made from fondant and edible pearls. 

Zebra 50th Birthday Cake

This cake was designed by Sonya's husband for her 50th Birthday! It is a 6" and 8" stacked cake with black fondant zebra stripes, a big red fondant bow, and some "black magic" roses to match the decor of the celebration!

Pink Bow 16th Birthday Cake

This cake was for Jewel's 16th birthday. It is an 8" chocolate cake with buttercream filling and pink buttercream frosting, a big pink textured fondant bow, purple fondant roses, and light purple fondant polka dots. 

Purple Zebra 13th Birthday Cake

This cake for Ally's 13th Birthday was based off of the "Purple Zebra Sweet 16 Cake". The top cake is a 6" strawberry cake with buttercream filling, and bottom cake an 8" yellow with buttercream filling. The cake is covered in buttercream frosting with purple and black fondant zebra stripes, purple fondant flowers and a white fondant birthday tag on front.

Funky Flower 13th Birthday Cupcakes

Here is one dozen cupcakes for Annabelle's 13th birthday. They were loosely based off of the cake "Elizabeths 21st Birthday" The cupcakes are white with Tiffany blue buttercream, and funky flowers and 13's made from fondant. 

Converse and Cupcakes Smash Cake & Cupcakes

More Zebra print and pink??? You don't hear me complaining! :) I love it!! The theme for this smash combo was "converse shoes", and the Mommy also wanted it to to be uber-girly and pink! The Smash cake is a "Cupcake Cake" made from 6" and 4" white cake, covered in fondant with a fondant bow that has hand painted zebra stripes. The cupcakes were originally only going to have 2-d converse shoes, but I thought it would be too cute to make them 3-d, and I think they turned out awesome!! The cupcakes were one dozen white with pink buttercream and fun matching fondant toppers.

Funky Baby Shower Cupcakes

This order was for 3 dozen cupcakes (only 2 dozen pictured here) for a baby shower. The client said her sis in law loved pink and black, zebra, and bright colors and that I could basically do anything I wanted! I love pink and green combo's so I thought this theme would be super cute! The cupcakes were chocolate covered cherry and strawberry, with buttercream frosting and lots of fun fondant details: zebra toppers, roses, polka dots, & buttons etc. 

Birds Nest Cake

Isn't this cake so fun??! It is a 6" chocolate cake with buttercream filling, covered in a sky blue fondant for a special birthday. The client's dear friend loves birds, so she requested a "bird" cake. I thought it would be super cool to make a chocolate nest! The birdie is made out of fondant, as are the leaves and flowers. It just makes me happy to look at!
